Let's Play Doctor

Salam, how are you all semua - ada baik ada sihat? :) alhamdulillah.

My life is much more better these days but not without daily drama heheh -  I admire some people who can write in a cheerful mode despite the fact that they are sick or not well or caught up in difficult situation. Ina is one. Adia is another :) and for that though I am not in a happy mode at this moment, I want to be very optimistic about the whole fiasco that happening in my life as well.- see this blogging thing does emit and transmit a positive energy :D

Life is really such a short span to be spent on worrying - to fear unnecessarily of  what will happen next week or next month or next year. One of my colleagues who became an object of ridicule by others - on the stage of the magic show in Genting last Friday - collapsed and died on the spot while jogging with his family, the next very day. Such an irony - we are shocked and surprised because he was so alive the night before. Sapa sangka kan

So, for that I will try to live my life as happy as I can, no matter whats.

My beloved recovery is here - yet far from fully recover - things are certainly better than before, all the swollen has reduced, no more pain during the day and night, walking is much steadier (of course with the tongkat) - window shopping and dinner and lunch at not so far away is possible. Teman tengok wayang pun bule :)

Yet we will still need some more time to be on the right track. Meanwhile, I have become slightly more expert on things like vascular trauma, knee ligaments - ACL, PCL  (and macam macam L lagi) and foot drop thing as a results of  my goggling activity - so that I can understand things better and be able to talk on the same 'language' with the doctors (ceh :)). So let me tell you some of the new words that I learn hehe

Vascular trauma - It is associated with a blood vessel injury that causes blood loss or interruption of blood supply in any part of the body (from here) . This is the most important of all - save the vein, save the limb and save the function of the body organ - no vein, no blood flows - no blood - dead organ.  Mr Hub has undergone a surgery for this and Alhamdulillah his recovery is in order - no post surgery complication or post surgery pain are detected so far.

Knee ligament injury - Do you see the Lateral Collateral Ligament (LCL),  Medial CL (MCL) and Anterior Cruciate L (ACL) on the image?  Mr Hub's LCL and MCL is badly torn and his ACL is broken - putus - So his knee is totally not steady. :) - cuba bayangkan gam gam da tercabut or da tak lekat :). His is yet to be rectified - no surgery is to take place now until the whole leg  really in a stable condition - no swollen - better reflex- stronger muscles and of course longer time will give the injured vein around the thigh area more time to really recover -

And then there is a foot drop condition -  an inability or difficulty in moving the ankle and toes upward (dorsiflexion). In walking, the leg must be lifted higher than usual to prevent the foot from dragging along the ground - from here -  This is common as a result of nerve and muscle damage - it can be temporary and it can be permanent -  Mr Hub's case is not so severe as he can move all his front foot and toes upward  slightly though not totally - so we figure (and we pray) that over time the foot will get better and improve further - specific exercise and supplementary vitamin will help the nerve to heal fast.

Despite undergoing physiotherapy for the last 5 weeks and continue still, we never really leave it all to the modern technology and modern doctors who acts  God :) - I mean they can say that it takes longer to recover or operation can only be done in 6 month from now - are we supposed to wait and sit back?  We have hope and we have faith and for that we never fail to explore other options -

We have sought treatment from Wak Patah and Pak Din, surveyed Pusratu and now meeting Pak Mus. Not because that I dont believe in modern medicine - but because we hope things will get better faster.  It is indeed getting better and we hope that during the next appointment, the doctors will say that Mr Hub's leg has improved so much and that 'we can go fix your knee now' :) or a miracle can just happen if the doctors find out that there is no operation needed :):) - I believe in kekuasaan Allah I believe in Kun Fa Ya Kun - insyaAllah insyaAllah

So you all learn some medic today :) - vascular, ligament and footdrop - ingat ye heheh kuar dalam kuiz I nanti heheh

Till later Ta

ps:
do you know - 1 very tiny miny nerve only grows 1 millimeter per week - so jaga nerve masing masing k :) - dont let anybody get on your nerve kekekek  - take care all
