Dont you think that Allah knows??

by @bytheqalb "Allah knows every fallen leaf. And He knows you. “With Him are the keys of the unseen, the treasures that none knows but He. He knows whatever there is on the earth and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but with His knowledge: there is not a grain in the darkness (or depths) of the earth, nor anything fresh or dry (green or withered), but is (inscribed) in a record clear (to those who can read).” – Quran 6:59

SubhanAllah. Allah knows every fallen leaf in your yard, in the gutter, drifting on the wind, or compacted layers deep in the depths of the darkest forest.

To us fallen leaves may be trash to be swept away, or food for worms, or mulching material. But Allah knows every leaf: its history, its individual veins and ragged edges, even its microscopic cells.

Don’t you think then that Allah knows your own pain, and fear, and suffering? “And indeed We have created man, and We know whatever thoughts his inner self develops, and We are closer to him than (his) jugular vein.” (Quran 50:16). Allah’s knowledge is with you at every moment. He created you, and He understands your innermost thoughts. Don’t you think that Allah is ready to comfort you, forgive you, help you, and guide you? Don’t you think that a God who knows and cares about each leaf would care about you, a unique creature of great complexity, a special soul that struggles and stumbles and carries the heavy burden of free will?

Don’t you think that Allah rejoices at your successes when you struggle in His path? Don’t you think that He is happy to see you happy, and is pleased to see you learn and grow, just as you are with your own children?

Indeed, Allah knows you, and sees you, and cares about you more than you can imagine.

Jannah

Now someone might say, ‘what good does it mean to ask for it? What’s that going to do?’ There’s a very beautiful hadith. If there is one thing I want you to apply from this video it is this one, inshAllah. There is one very beautiful hadith narrated in Sunan Al-Tirmidhi and also Musnad Al-Imam Ahmad with an authentic chain from Anas ibn Malik RA that the Prophet SWS said, ‘whoever asks Allah for Jannah three times not only does Allah answer the dua, RasoolAllah SWS says ‘Jannah actually talks. Jannah speaks. Jannah itself makes du’aa to Allah, ‘oh Allah enter him into Paradise.’ And the Prophet SWS said, and ‘whoever asks Allah protection from HellFire, to be protected and guarded from Hellfire’, Hellfire makes du’aa to Allah ‘oh Allah protect him from the fire’. SubhanAllah, asking three times. If you can just incorporate this one thing into your life. If you want Jannah why don’t you just say so?

Oh Allah enter us into Jannah-tul-Firdaous’, because the Prophet SWS said don’t just ask for Jannah, ask for the highest level which is in his companionship, inshAllah in the highest level of Paradise with the Prophet SWS. So you make du’aa three times. Look how easy it is.
Allahuma adkhilni Jannat-il-Firdous – Oh Allah! Grant me Jannah Al-Firdous

Allahuma adkhilni Jannat-il-Firdous – Oh Allah! Grant me Jannah Al-Firdous

Allahuma adkhilni Jannat-il-Firdous – Oh Allah! Grant me Jannah Al-Firdous

Oh Allah grant me Paradise. You ask it three times. If you just did that Paradise just made du’aa for you and do the same for Hellfire and Hellfire will make dua for you to not enter it.

In need of mercy

First and last Ramadan
"My first Ramadan with Amr, we went to taraweeh prayer at the largest congregation in Alexandria. Thousands of people gathered to pray in the open air by the sea. When the prayer was done, young men were collecting money for one of those most severe famines in Somalia. I got some of my money together, handed it to Amr, and he gave it to one of the men collecting donations.
My last Ramadan with Amr, we prayed taraweeh at a local masjid in Alexandria. As we were heading home, he said to me “I still don’t think we give enough charity.” And upon that, we saw an elderly woman sitting on the side of the road asking for money. He took a bill out of his wallet, put it in my hand and asked me to go give it to her. I did, and she made dua for us.
That is one of the last things we did together.
Charity…from my hand, to his. From his hand, to mine. That’s how it was between us, and that’s how it is with love – at least when you don’t love selfishly, and when you understand that there is a greater purpose to love and to life – you give together, you pray together, you become better together.
Both my first and last Ramadan with Amr are punctuated by these events, and they have stayed with me. The image of Amr emerging from the men’s side of the masjid with a wet beard has also stayed with me. He never told me why he cried in those final prayers, and I didn’t ask.
One of the many things Amr taught me was giving charity. Not just giving money to those in need, but giving of yourself to your family, friends and community. I mean the kind of charity that is to be a positive force on this earth, to radiate goodness and fairness wherever you go – and to give from what is most personally yours – your heart, your smile, your good words.
I don’t think we really understand what charity means. It doesn’t mean that the person giving is rich, or noble or exceptionally philanthropic. Rather, those who continuously give are actually those who see themselves as in need.
They need Allah’s Mercy, His Forgiveness. They need to alleviate the distress of others so that Allah (swt) can alleviate a distress of theirs on the Day of Judgment. I think Amr realized how much we were in need of this, and so he endeavored to always give to me, our daughter, his friends, his community. He never stopped giving until the day he returned to Allah. He never stopped speaking the truth, he never stopped calling for justice, he never stopped being who he was out of fear of what others would say or do to him.
He never stopped giving because he knew that he needed Allah to give him something greater. I pray that he has received something much greater than what he gave away.”

Poem

by @makkahx "#Poem.👇👇👇👇

He raised his hands and out he #cried,
Look at my deeds and how i #lied.

Take your book in which everything is #contained.
Everything else perished but your deeds #remained.

Nothing is begotten and nothing is #lost,
And neither can they be changed for any price or #cost.

Behind you is a barrier to which you can't #return,
To the deluding dunya in which everything is #yearned.

Your heart was the flesh which kept you #alive,
But you cut off the supply of islam and you made  it #deprive.

Your lord is the most forgiving, and he is the most #kind,
His love is the ultimate one .. To each and every #mind.

He send down the righteous in order to #detect,
A way of guidance.. And a  means to #reflect.

But you didn't open your heart ..and let islaam #in .
So whatever came through you just made you #sin.

If you Stood in the prayer you'd have felt his #presence .. A feeling which can be felt by the touch of his #essence.

But you said " yes I am amongst the Muslims and I #submit.
So I tested you with patience and look how quickly you #quit.

Sin Less

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“I swear by Him in whose hand is my soul, if you were a people who did not commit sin, Allah would take you away and replace you with a people who would sin and then seek Allah’s forgiveness so He could forgive them.”
[Sahīh Muslim (2687)]
Allah already has a creation which is sinless. He has the angels who “never disobey Allah in what He commands them and carry out whatever they are told to do.” [Sūrah al-Tahrīm: 6] they glorify Allah without fail. Some are standing in prayer, some are bowing, and some are in prostration saying: “Glory be to the the possessor of the dominion and its possessions! Glory be to the possessor of might and irresistible power. Glory be to the Living One who never dies!”
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“I see and hear what you do not. The heavens heaved, and they have a right to do so, since there is not a place the width of a hand span that is not occupied by an angel prostrating his forehead to Allah.”
[Sunan al-Tirmidhī (2312) and Sunan Ibn Mājah (4190)]
In spite of all this, Allah in His wisdom wanted to create beings besides the angels – human beings who would need to be guided to the proper path and who were capable of going astray. Allah says:
“Lo! We have shown him the way, whether he be grateful or disbelieving.” [Sūrah al-Insān: 3]
This is the nature upon which Allah created the human being. It is unavoidable that people will err. Therefore Allah has permitted us to ask His forgiveness. Indeed, He exhorts us to do so, and He promises us His forgiveness.

We should make it a habit to seek Allah’s forgiveness as often as we can. Constancy in beseeching forgiveness is a cure for the maladies of the heart as well as a means of having our sins erased.

How much Allah is willing to forgive us can be seen in the following hadith related in Sahīh al-Bukhārī and Sahīh Muslim:
Someone committed a sin and then said: “O Allah! Forgive me my sin.”

Allah said: “My servant committed a sin, but knew that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes sins.”

Then he committed the sin again and said: “My Lord! Forgive me my sin.”

Allah said: “My servant committed a sin, but knew that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes sins.”

Then he committed the sin again and said: “My Lord! Forgive me my sin.”

Allah said: “My servant committed a sin, but knew that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes sins. Do as you will, for I have forgiven you.”

[Sahīh al-Bukhārī (7507) and Sahīh Muslim (2758)]
We understand from this hadīth that when Allah forgives a sin, it is forgiven. If the person commits the same sin again, Allah will not revoke His forgiveness for the previous time the sin was committed, but will only hold the sinner to account for the present occurrence. Forgiveness is something Allah gives, and He does not revoke what He gives. Once a sin is wiped from our records, it is wiped away for good.

Muslim Hijab

A muslim women wears Hijab on the basis of her belief that it is a command from Allah, revealed to protect the Muslim women, to make her character distinct, to preserve her beauty only for her husband (In other words, she does not allow herself to be ogled at and admired by other men), and to keep her away from the slippery slope of immorality and error. When a Muslim woman wears hijab she is obeying and submitting to Allah =)

In Surah An-Nur, Ayat 31, Allah says:

And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons, their husbands’ sons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons, their sisters’ sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.

Also Allah says: “O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.” (Surah Al-Ahzaab:59)

A woman who wears hijab liberates herself from the vain and selfish desire to show off her beauty and to compete with other women around her. This is an innate desire that is exacerbated by wanton display and tamed by modesty and covering. Often labeled as oppressive, many fail to realize that the Hijab truly empowers every female with the ability to control how she is treated and respected in society, her safety, and who deserves to see her beauty, all while making a statement against female exploitation. A woman who observes the Hijab is freeing herself of society’s immoral and disrespectful expectations of her. A female who conceals her beauty has granted herself the power to say to the world “You know what? Everything about me besides my beauty should matter to you.”

All human beings demand respect, and why should we women be treated as mere objects valued or devalued for our beauty or the lack thereof? Why should we let all random and strange men (whether we are friends with them or not) be the judges of our attractiveness? Shouldn’t we preserve ourselves for only those who deserve us?

And that is why Muslim women observe the Hijab =D

Relax

“Five Wisdoms
1) If you are right then there is no need to get angry, and if you are wrong then you don’t have any right to get angry.

2) Patience with family is love Patience with others is respect Patience with self is confidence.

3) Never think hard about the past. It may bring sorrow. Don’t think more about the future. It may bring fears. Live this moment with a smile. Trust in Allah.

4) Every test in our lives makes us bitter or better. Every problem comes to make us or break us However, the choice is ours, whether we become victims or victorious.

5) Search for a beautiful heart and not a beautiful face. Beautiful things are not always good, but good things are always beautiful. Love each other for the sake of Allah.
May Allah grant us the ability to be the best Muslims we can possibly be. In sha’Allah.”

Knowing Allah

One of the reasons people don’t believe in the existence of God, is because their minds cannot comprehend His greatness…

"He governs the affairs of the various kingdoms and He commands and forbids, creates, sustains, gives death, gives life, gives power, strips power (to and from whom He wills) and alternates the night and day. He gives varying fortunes to people and alternates governments (and states), destroying some and bringing some into existence.

His Command and Power are dominant in the heavens and their zones, the earth and all that which is on and in it, in the seas and in the air.

His Knowledge has encompassed everything and He counted everything. He hears all types of voices and they do not confuse Him. Rather, He hears each voice in its distinct language and need, and no voice will make Him busy from fulfilling the need of another, and no need will ever escape His Perfect Knowledge (and His Power to deliver).

He does not become bored because of the many needs of those who need. His Sight encompasses all that which there is. He sees the movement of a black ant on a barren rock during a dark night. To Him, the Unseen is uncovered end the secret is secret no more, “Whosoever is in the heavens and on Earth begs of Him (its needs from Him). Every day He has a matter to bring Forth (such as giving honor to some, disgrace to some, life to (some, death to some, etc.).” [55:29]

He forgives an evil deed, makes depression vanish and brings reprieve from disasters, relief for whoever needs it, wealth for the poor, guidance for the misguided, light for the lost, help for he who is desperate, fullness for the hungry, cover for the barely clothed, cure for the ill and ease for he who suffers.

He accepts he who repents, gives reward for he who does good, gives aid for he who was dealt with injustice, destroys an arrogant person, covers mistakes, gives safety after fear end elevates some people and humiliates others. If those who inhabit His heavens and His earth and all those whom He created, whether mankind or the Jinns, had hearts similar to the most pious heart, His Kingdom will not increase.

If all His creation, whether mankind or the Jinns, had hearts similar to the heart of the most wicked heart, this will not decrease from His Kingdom. Also, if all those who inhabit His heavens and His earth, all mankind and all the Jinns, the dead and the living, stand up on one strip of land and each asks Him for his need, and He then fulfils their needs, this will not decrease from what He has a bit.

He is the First, nothing is before Him, the Last, nothing is after Him, the Most High, nothing is above Him, and the Most Near, nothing is nearer than Him. He, Exalted and Ever High as He is, is the Best Whom one can and should remember, the only One Who deserves to be worshiped and thanked, the Kindest of all those who own and the Most generous of all those who are asked to give.

He is the King Who has no partner, the One Who has no competitor, the Samad (Self-Sufficient) Who has no offspring, and the Ever High, none like unto Him. Everything perishes save His Face and every kingship is bound to perish except His. He will only be obeyed by His Leave, and His Knowledge uncovers all disobedience to Him.

When He is obeyed, He thanks for it, and when He is disobeyed, He grants forgiveness (for those who truly repent to Him). Every punishment from Him is just and every bounty is a grace.

He is the Closest Witness and the Nearest One with His Perfect Care. He controls the forelocks of everything and has the full records of all deeds end the books of all ages. The hearts are unmasked to Him and the secret is unveiled. His giving and punishing is merely a Command, “Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, ‘Be, and it is!’” [36:82].

You

Friends, whatever situation we find ourselves in right now, take comfort that we are exactly where Allah wants us to be right now. If you are in an extremely difficult situation, our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said “know that what does not afflict you could never have afflicted you; and what afflicts you would never have missed you. And realize that victory is with patience, relief is with stress, and indeed with difficulty comes ease.” [Nawawi’s 40 Hadith]
There is always a bigger picture, a larger context that we are unable to perceive with our short-sightedness. Allah Most High is fully aware of how things unfold in the long run, and we must place our trust in Him, fully realizing that there is wisdom in His decisions.
"Ya Allah, may You make it easy for all of us to trust in Your Qadr, Amin."

Love

“It is not that Islam doesn’t believe in love so Muslims don’t celebrate Valentines Day and the likes. Rather, the concept of love is SO STRONG in Islam that it refuses to acknowledge anything that downgrades and cheapens this wonderful emotion.

The concept of love is SO WISE in Islam that it protects the dignity, honor and rights of both the man and the woman, and doesn’t let one run away after ‘having their bit of fun.’

The concept of love is SO SACRED in Islam that even feeding your wife a morsel of food is a rewarded, blessed deed. That being good to your husband can be a doorway to Paradise!

The concept of love is SO PRACTICAL in Islam that it is not dependant on gimmicks and commercial promotion. Rather, it is lived through honesty, gentleness and affection each day of the year, each moment of life.

Actually the concept of love is SO AMAZING in Islam that it doesn’t end with this Dunya, rather it binds the hearts that love each other in His Obedience in this life and beyond! A story that perseveres in Dunya and then will enjoy permanent bliss in the hereafter.
And how shall it not be, when Islam is itself from AL-WADOOD, the Most Loving, the Source of all love, the Bestower of this wonderful gift!

There is no faith that advocates love more justly, more deeply than Islam. It celebrates it… wholly and eternally, and doesn’t need the world to say when exactly and how exactly it should be expressed!

Where do you take your definition of LOVE from?”

Solat

7 Steps to Achieve a Quality Salat

1. Pray on time

First things first. When we give God priority, He gives us His priority. Look forward to the time when it’s prayer and then drop whatever you are doing to go and pray. Make this especially true for yourself if you’re traveling.

2. Slow down

Slow down in each position. This would be especially important if you’re naturally a quick reader and your salat normally finishes quickly. Slowing down can mean reciting the Quran a bit more slowly or just holding your position i.e. in sujood for a few seconds more than normal after you have finished reciting. Inshallah, this will allow you to relax and get that piece of mind in a way that is pleasing to Allah SWT as opposed to perhaps rushing the salat.

Additionally, you will find slowing down allows the Salat to run smoothly in a beautiful manner, InsyaAllah =)

3. Understand what you’re reciting

You don’t have to be a scholar to understand what you’re reciting. We should make the effort to understand at least some of what is read during salat.

For example, Surah al-Fatihah is something we all read during salat but do we know what, “Iyyaka na’a budu wa-iyyaka nasta aeen” means? “You {Alone} we worship, and You {Alone} we ask for help [for each and everything”. This Surah is also fairly short and therefore not difficult to remember.

Once we understand what we are reading during salah even if it’s not all of what is read, then we will find that sweetness you obtain from salat through understanding what we are saying. This can only allow us to become closer to Him.

Recite different surahs. If it’s Surah Ahad that you recite regularly. There are other Surahs that you’ve memorised but never recite in Salat. Recite those and reflect on it’s meanings.

4. Remember Shaitaan’s tricks!

This is our enemy, Shaitaan. We are blessed by Allah SWT that we are in a position to be performing salah but this doesn’t stop Shaitaan in our salah who is ever busy trying to distract us from our worship.

It is said in a hadith that shaitaan called ‘Khinzab’ sits on your shoulder in salah. As soon as you start the salah, it whispers and does everything to disturb you. That’s why if you find yourself running through your shopping list or what you have to do for the rest of the day then know that this is the shaitaan working its magic.

‘Uthan b. Abu al-‘As reported that he came to the Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) and said:“Allah’s Messenger, the Satan intervenes between me and my prayer and my reciting of the Qur’an and he confounds me”. Thereupon, Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) said, “That is the doing of the Satan who is known as Khinzab and when you perceive its effect, seek refuge with Allah from it and spit three times to your left”. [Muslim].

If we understand the different tricks of the shaitaan, we can avoid falling into its traps and letting our minds wander in salat.

5. Stay focused

Isolating ourselves and going in a quiet place can and should be applied to our salat. Anything that allows us to focus, concentrate and block out the world during salah can only benefit us.

Many people find sitting in wait for the salat, doing dhikr for a few minutes is very useful. This will InshaAllah allow you to forget about the world and the various things you have to do for a few minutes. Therefore, when the salat begins, you will be fully focused.

6. Increase the significance/importance of THIS salat

Try to think of the salat you are about to perform as the one in which Allah SWT will question you about on the Day of Judgement. This should help us to perform the salat with the devotion, concentration and care we are looking for.

Additionally, consider that this salat may be your last. I’m sure if we were told this would be our last salat, we would perform it with extreme devotion, avoid anything and anyone that distracted us and make it the longest salah possible. This is something to reflect on.

7. Continuously make dua

This is a vital point to consider for everyone. Dua should constantly be made to Allah SWT as without His help & His willing, we will not be able to perform the salat as required. We should continuously ask Him to send blessings on us and if for example we are struggling with remembering the Quran, or concentrating then we should continuously seek help from Allah SWT.

Finally, dua should be made thanking Allah SWT for all His bounties and giving us the blessings to be able to perform salat and pray to him despite our many faults.

A dua that should, therefore, be read constantly after salat is, ‘Allahumma innee ala zikrika wa shukrika wa husni ibaadatik’ (O’Allah, help me remember You, to be grateful to You, and to worship You in an excellent manner).

I sincerely hope this will help us all gain Kushu’ in our salat InsyaAllah. Jazakallah khair!

Zikir

Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim
(بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم )

storiesofthesahabah:
This, among thousands of other ahadith, truly melts the heart and makes tear fall from your eyes. Indeed, this is a very beneficial, motivating and beautiful hadith.

If you are struggling, facing a big problem, or even if you are happy or just achieved something, I urge you to please spare some time and read this, it will give such ease in your heart, that no other success in this world can give you or no hardship can ever make you shun away from Him if such is known by your mind and heart.
_____

”Allāh has angels who roam the roads, seeking out those who remember Him.

So, if they find those who remember Allāh;

They call out; ‘come see what you’re looking for!’ and the Angels encircle them with their wings up to the sky.

Then, their Lord asks them- though He Knows better than them- ‘What do My slaves say?’
The Angels reply: 'They say: subhan'Allāh, Allāhu'Akbar, and Alhamdulillāh.'
Allāh then says: ‘Did they see Me?’
The Angels reply: 'No! By Allāh, they didn't see You.'
Allāh says: "How it would have been if they saw Me?’
The Angels reply: 'If they saw You, they would worship You more devoutly and praise You more, and declare Your freedom from any resemblance to anything more often.'
Allāh will say: 'What do they ask Me for?'
The Angels reply: ‘They ask You for Paradise.’
Allāh says: ‘Did they see it?’
The Angels say: ‘No! By Allaah, O Lord! They didn’t see it.’
Allāh says: ‘How it would have been if they saw it?’
The Angels say: 'If they saw it, they would have greater desire for it, and would seek it with greater zeal.'

Allāh says: 'From what do they seek refuge?'
The Angels reply: 'They seek refuge from the Fire.'
Allāh says: 'Did they see it?'
The Angels say: 'If they saw it, they would flee from it swiftly, and would have extreme fear of it.'

Then, Allāh says: 'I make you witnesses that I have Forgiven them.'

One of the Angels would then say: 'There was such and such a person amongst them, and he was not one of them. Rather, he had just come for some need of his.'
Allāh would then say: ‘These are people whose companions will not be saddened.’

Subhan’Allāh!

Look at how Allāh rewards those who remember Him? and how Merciful He is towards them?

Wouldn’t such hadīth urge us to be better, one who always remembers Him, because when we always remember Him, we are being conscious of our acts and deeds, that we need also be prompt and constantly praying our 5 times daily salāh.

Indeed, it all starts from the heart (niyyah) then the mouth (dhikr and abstaining form evil utterance of words) then the hands (zakat, sadaqah, helpin, etc) then the whole body (falling down bowing and in prostration unto Him).

Isn’t that beautiful? To be told by the Angel to Allāh that You remember Him and in return Allāh rewards you of His Forgiveness? Allāhu’Akbar!

And aren’t such people the best of companions to have in this dunya? That with their righteousness we are also by His Love and Blessing for such people we are also being showered by His Mercy?

So please realize that with little utterance of praising and glorifying Him, we are bestowed upon with His infinite Mercy and Love.

Subhan’Allāh!

So what are you still complaining for?
_____

Subhan’Allāh! May Allāh grant and bless us with righteous companions that will help us become better Muslims, that would understand our struggles and encourage us always to enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil, and at the end we ask Allāh that He makes us a rightful companion to our friends, fellow Muslims and to our family. in sha Allāh!
