Ibnu Abbas pernah menceritakan bahawa Rasulullah bersabda, "Tiada suatu hari pun amalan kebaikan padanya mempunyai kelebihan melainkan pada sepuluh hari pertama bulan Zulhijah.

As you all probably know, Persatuan Braille Malaysia produce braille Qurans
for blind students and adults in Malaysia, and has also sent them overseas
to Gaza, UK and Nigeria (the latest one to a 12yr old boy in Germany).
Currently they are trying to fill a request for 60 braille Qurans for
Sekolah Alma (former St Nicholas) in Penang.
Sadly even with at least 20,000 blind Muslims in Malaysia, there is no
other religious material available for them. It is sad they are already
living in a dark world, yet have limited access to the light of religious
knowledge. At the MAB (Msian Assoc for the Blind) library in Brickfields,
(which serves the blind throughout Malaysia) there are many books in
English and Mandarin, but very few in Malay and even less about Islam.
Because of this, PBM is now on a mission to transcribe Islamic texts into
braille, starting with a braille version of Tafsir Pimpinan Ar Rahman
( a translation of the Quran approved by JAKIM). To do this we need people
to read out the tafsir to our blind braille typists (2 ladies) who will
transcribe the words into braille. The complete translation of the Quran
may take about ONE YEAR to transcribe.
Can I invite ladies out there who can spare an hour or two to come to the
Persatuan Braille office in Taman Pelangi , Sentul to read. It is not a lot
of time to you, but inshaAllah it will be worth a lot to the blind who will
finally have a chance to understand the Quran when they read it.
You do not need to speak good Malay as you're reading from a text, and your
voice need not be melodious, just clear enough for the typist to understand
you.
Please call Encik Rafi at 013-2615783 to arrange the reading schedule, and
ask for directions . You can also email me at norma.hashim@gmail.com if you
cant reach him.
The office is open 9-5pm Mon to Friday , and 9- 12.30pm every 2nd and 4th
Saturday. The address is Tingkat 2, No 12, Jalan Pelangi 18, Taman
Pelangi , Sentul, 51100 KL.
If you would like to help with the cost of the project, we have a dedicated
account for this at CIMB Batu Caves, under Persatuan Braille Malaysia acct
no 1477 0000 173058. Payments are tax exempt, please email me your name ,
address and the amount donated for the tax exempt receipt.

Disebalik Itu
ps :
I read this before I went for Umrah- and the above was repeatedly briefed again during tazkirah and masa ziarah by Mutawiff.
Makam Ibrahim
sembahyang sunat tawaf 2 rakaat. ::)
sembahyang sunat tawaf 2 rakaat. ::)
KISAH ASAL USUL BEKAS TAPAK KAKI NABI IBRAHIM A.S (MAQAM)
(surah al-Baqarah ayat 127).
Mata air telaga Zamzam
Sejarah
Siti Hajar memerhatikan sikap suaminya yang menghairankan itu lalu bertanya ;
“Hendak kemanakah engkau Ibrahim?”
“Hendak kemanakah engkau Ibrahim?”
Siti Hajar bertanya lagi;
Riwayat – At Tabrani dan Ibnu Hibban.

Family Action Plan :)
salam
It has been sometime since I share something beneficial :D. Remember I talked about wasiah shoppe before? Allow me to share a bit more.
Do you know if you dont have a son, partial of your husband's asset will go to his siblings (if you dont have any wasiat /will)? It is part of Faraed distribution. Tujuannya baik, bersebab, maybe if our husband dies first, the next strong man in his family will take charge and take care of us. InsyaAllah, bersangka baik lah pada saudara kita kan.
But MONEY MAN... :), land and houses. Ada antara kita boleh rabun mata dan gelap hati and put responsibility aside - down to the drain :). Yes orang cakap money is not everything biar pi lah, esok mati dia jawab but.... BUT we are not dead yet - we are alive and we need money, kita kena besarkan anak anak, food and education and in fact these days, we NEED money for EVERYTHING. Rumah dan kereta nak kena sambung bayar, sekolah nak kena pergi, and so on.
A case in point is my SIL. I think that a main concern to any housewife (at all) is when we lose the only person that we depend on financially ( IF we do not have any other financial source), losing the main breadwinner of a family. Life is hard. Semua kemungkinan boleh terjadi because life is full with uncertainty.
So I am happy that my SIL finally draws up her family wasiat (will). Her main concern is of course that all her children are girls and she is a full-time housewife, his husband works offshore, bergadai nyawa di tengah lautan dan pergi bekerja berminggu minggu. Without any boy in the house, his husband does not have any "waris".
I recommeded my biras wasiah shope (WS) and they (WS people) come all the way from Eastern office in Temerloh to his house in Kemaman. A consultancy to understand how asset are best distributed in case of death of a husband or a father was given freely.
Hibah was proposed instead of pembahagian mutlak - (hibah is hadiah kepada anak atau bukan anak atau kepada sesiapa yang tiada pertalian darah daging) - because according to WS, since they do not have any son, waris lain ada hak (adik beradik Husband) dan boleh menuntut hak mereka setelah kematian yang punya harta.
They can fight in syariah court if they do not agree to the earlier distribution. Meaning, if si mati does not have a son, the next waris to the decease (siblings) can fight for that right under Faraed law. But in case of hibah, it is much more stronger than pembahagian suka rela oleh oleh si punya harta. Once you declare it as "Hibah"/hadiah, it is the recipient gift and nobody else has any right on that particular asset or saving.
Bukan kita tamak, tak nak bagi mak bapak, adik kakak, atuk nenek :) harta kita, it is just that we want to make sure all our children are taken care of, first and foremost (sebab mereka masih kecil kecil). Boleh, ada lebih, jangan lupa mak ayah, letak sekali dalam wasiat, ada lebih lagi bagi pula pada adik perempuan kita yang kurang bernasib baik and so on.
Hmm, maybe anda akan berkata, "saya tiada harta erma :)). How about your savings books, asb, unit trust, insurance, EPF, the house you are currently paying etc etc. You can consolidate all that and make a wasiat. Worry free, please, even when our children are all grown up, they have no right on those money and asset as long as we are still alive. They wont throw us out :) -banyak orang tua danseparuh tua like us :), takut harta that they work so hard for hilang dibelanjakan and kita tua dalam kemiskinan dan kemelaratan)
Remember, tanpa wasiat dan sepakat antara waris, Faraed law will be applied. Apart from the example above (family with no waris lelaki),
Faraed seems a bit complicated when it involves many waris, sebidang tanah ada 10 nama with each sharing sekangkang kera. But if waris sepakat, they can always opt for "takharuj/muafakat". I give sipolan A this land, so I take the other land, and you, my sister take the house etc, etc. Alhamdulillah if ada kata sepakat. But mana kita nak tahukan in future kita kita macam mana :).
So let is discuss with our hubby. Subtle and diplomatic way of course, to make sure our husband understands that kita bukan gilakan harta dia :).
And we ourselves (if banyak harta) must do a separate will as well. DO you know that if you die (and you have no will/wasiat), all your assets becomes your husband and if he remarry and have other children, all of them has right on portion of your harta under Faread law? :)
And remember also, penama (in any epf, saving book etc) is not automatically "wasiat". Most probabaly they are penjaga amanah and distribution will follow faraed law in case no wasiat is drawn.
SO again please set up your wasiah appointment - or ask for the sweet and helpful consultant Pn. Delaila. Please quote Ermayum :) ESZ.
Till later. Fikir fikirkan :) dengan serius :D
ps:
Nabi SAW juga galakkan kita buat wasiat. Baginda sendiri tinggalkan wasiat sapa sapa yang patut ambil alih kepimpinan negara.I read somewhere I forgot the source.
Post ini tidak berbayar. :) Ilmu pengurusan harta pusaka the islamic way makin hilang and banyak salah faham tentang Faraed, macam hudud kak, too many misunderstanding :( - salah satu ilmu yang akan pupus ditelan zaman, this is a fact, dalam buku ni cakap :) Mengurus harta pusaka - Wan Abdul Halim Wan Harun . Dont allow that, let's us understand more and read more juga :)
Sila betulkan yang mana yang salah sebab saya tak pernah ambil cost syariah law ke faraed ke - semua nya dari sharing orang lain :) and my limited reading

From one disturbed person to another....
Cute eh ? From Forwarded email
Happy Mondayyyyyyyyyyyyy
Make sure you scroll all the way down and read what is written.
Today is International Disturbed People's Day
Please send an encouraging message to a disturbed friend... just as I've done.
I don't care if you lick windows,
take the special bus
or occasionally pee on yourself.
You hang in there sunshine, you're special
Every sixty seconds you spend angry, upset or mad, is a full minute of happiness you'll never get back.
Today's Message of the Day is:
Life is short, Occasionally Bend the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you
smile.
Send to all the people you care for and don't want to lose in 2011, even me.
If you get 3 back, you are a great friend.
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance

Beware
I received this email once. But never thought that it is true :). My superior
got the exact call last Friday. Terkezut dia - siap buat report semua juga. And of course,
dia tak buat lah request nombor 2 tu.
Not sure whether call yang dia dapat tu original or copycat :) (iyalah email ni dah lama maybe
orang yang nak nyakat :)). Sebab semua nya 'sejibik' :). Macam mimpi dia kata hehe
Bdw - that phone nombor is indeed bukit aman general line
The email as such, read on :
Dear All,
Please ignore if someone claims that he is from the commercial crime
department, Bukit Aman, by the name of ASP Foo Wei Min (h/p:016 9155 171)
called your mobile. His number appear on your mobile is +0060322662222.
Apparently there is such an officer but he is now on study leave abroad.
This is how the scam works;
1. This "officer" will call you saying that you are involved in some sort
of illegal black money and that your accomplish is caught by Hong Kong
police and that you have an account there as well.
2. You were than informed that all your bank account in Malaysia will soon
be frozen, and this "officer" will ask you to open a bank account and
transfer all your money to this account before it is frozen.
3. After you have done all this, then you are require to meet him at his
office. By then, all your money is gone, and you will not be able to meet
this "officer" as he is not in the country.
This is real, as one of my friend's girlfriend is one of the victim and he
called me this morning. I then checked with my friend at Bukit Aman
commercial crime department and he told me that he already received many
such calls about this "officer". His advise is, just ignore the call, but
make a police report at the nearest police station.

Let s talk gold :$
Salam
Let s talk gold today :)
Last week kedai disana boleh bagi sampai rm127 per gram sebab harga emas turun kejab but the last few days melompat balik ke rm135. Kalau disini lagi lah tak dapat harga begini. Semua maklumkan emas emas dibandar ni sangatlah mahal, more mahal upah kerana menggaji pekerja dan bayaran sewa kedai :). So kalau mencari yellow gold baiklah balik
kampung or beli di Trengganu or Kelantan.
Walau bagaimana pun saya sangat setuju menggunakan gold sebagai simpanan masa depan (of course sebagai one of investment alternatives apart from cash seadanya (byk byk pun tak guna sebab inflation rate n value yang semakin kurang sebab barang asyik naik hargakan), selain property and unit trust.
Imagine this, you have rm1000 and you save it for the rainny day but the value of rm1000 in 5 years maybe sama valuenya dengan rm500 sahaja (tanpa menggunakan mana mana formula ;)) yet let say you use the rm1000 to buy gold, pure or in the form of jewelery, 5 years from now the gold worth double or triple of its value.
When I was a little girl, I used to follow my mum to goldsmith. Then, gold was at rm30 to rm40 per gram. 10 years ago, when I was not yet into white gold, and still menjadi peneman my mum to goldsmith, price per gram was at rm70 to rm80. Today the price per gram is at rm140. Do you see the trend? And l got to exchange cincin cincin my mum yang sudah bengkok and hilang batu, 4 of them, seingat I, 25 years ago harganya hanyalah rm100 over for rm1600 ;D. Of course I tak tukar dengan wang ringgit, but dengan yang lebih dekat dimata dan dihati.;)
Masa I kecik my mum bough my ring at rm40. These day, to get the same size of ring for my girls, I need to pay almost rm300. And all my mum jewellery yang dulunya dibeli dengan harga 1k and 2k now worth ribut riban lemon :). I don't really put them on, sebab different citarasa :) yet pakai jugalah sekali sekala. I am keeping them for the rainy days (and also for the memories). And as simpanan semestinya ia disimpan dibank siap dibayarkan zakat sekali if you simpan di Bank Islam.
Yes, you can also open gold account with some of the local bank but tak sama sebab you don't see the actual gold. Itu atas angin sahaja. So buy the real one. Memang sedikit hassle until diconvertkan ke cash but the value in future is worth the trouble. Buy certificate pure gold in the form of dinar or perhiasan diri and keep them in safe deposit dekat bank (lebih selamatkan). If you need money, pawn them at Ar Rahnu or Agro bank. They can give you up to 70 percent of the gold current value. 70 percent in future maybe 10 times more than the value that you pay to buy it today.
Or just buy yellow gold jewelery banyak banyak ; D. No need to be Mami Jarum, simpan ja kat bank. Yang satu dua tu pakailah kat badan kan ;).
So why wait? Let s buy some gold. Sila la ke trengganu ye kalau nak beli (ops promote kampung I pulak )"perasantan kampung I kekeke"
ps : sekadar berkongsi cerita dan pendapat sendiri :D.
ps 2: walau yellow gold berharga, saya masih berangan mendapatkan/mengcompletekan white gold bling bling diamond dari kepala ke hujung kaki heheh tak tau lah bila dapat satu set badan kekekeke. Hmm berangan bule kan - moga menjadi impian yang kesampaian :)

Wassiya Shoppe
My brother and I went to wassiyah shoppe (WS) last friday to settle my dad things. I am settling this as soon as possible (right after I got the death certificate) untuk mengelak yang tidak baik, untuk hati I lebih aman and untuk roh arwah lebih aman juga. How much or how little, I truly believe that rezeki tetap dari Allah and I take all with hati yang ikhlas- insyaAllah. siapa lah saya cuma menumpang harta parents yang tidak seberapa.
Alhamdulilah all goes on well with us.
And here is my sharing dear (sharing is love)
We appoint WS to be in charge of "distributing" and "tagging" the relevant names (me or my brother) to each harta. They will settle arwah's saving, land and building at a basic fee of RM 3400 per file (ayah is one name ibu is another name- if you are settling both together, you need to open 2 files, but 2nd file is charged at 50%). They will charge some additional charges later (after all settles). The good thing is their charges are cheaper as compared to Amanah Raya :). (please know that Amanah Raya is NOT the only organization yang menguruskan harta pusaka)
Here is some info if you are not aware:
ASB is saham - no penama is allowed, final distribution is based on faraed
EPF is with penama but final distribution will be faraed law as well. Penama hanya penjaga amanah
I am not sure about life insurance since we do have penama (my dad does not have any insurance). But of course at WS you can consolidate all
At wasiyyah shoppee, they will help you to settle all harta pusaka at one go at a very much cheaper cost - you just need to provide all documents, open file and sign in agreemeent for harta distribution as faraed method, or sama rata or other percentage based on whatever discussed. This means that you have a choice. ASB or EPF can be distributed as per waris's choice. (of course waris kena muafakat and setuju dengan whatever method or percentage), again this means that you dont have to follow faraed/islamic distribution)
Better still - make your wasiat with them at RM500 now - consolidate your wasiat with your hubby. This wasiat will supersede EPF nomination or ASB rules (faraed distribution). In this wasiat you can provide Hibah as well.
Hibah is hadiah dari parents untuk any individual (family atau tidak) and harta hibah terkeluar dari pembahagian harta pusaka. For example you have many houses but there is one house that you want to hibah (hadiahkan ) kepada sorang anak angkat. This harta become hadiah kepada si dia when you are no more alive. Anak anak lain tidak boleh menuntut. Nice eh ?:D (and you can pull back the hibah when you still alive or change your mind)
Apart from RM 500 masa buat wasiat, WS will charge a yearly fee of Rm 200 per year up to 55 years of our age (if I am not mistaken). And there after, you dont need to pay any yearly fee. Apabila berlaku kematian, they will come and read the wasiat to all children and they will take care all.
Wasiat in Islam is very important sebenarnya so make your wasiat now :D
So please call your consultant at WS now :). Cheap and easy.

| No. Faks | +603 6259 2853 . |

ps:
WS does not do ASB's pusaka if NO other harta (house, land etc) involved because the fees charged by them is too much as compared to work needed to be done (too easy work). Your next choice is Amanah R but they will charge you as high as income tax tau :).
So, write up your will now, please mention that you know this from Ermayum blog ye (so that I become referral for a bit of token - tq :) )
ps2: faraed distribution is good bila semua waris tak boleh come to a conclusion or an agreement but if there is any other way that makes everybody happy then that is the best. but if semuaa cannot decide , then faread is used so that nobody can question it as it is undang undang islam- lelaki dapat lebih, sebab tanggungjawab besar-must take care of other parent or siblings, if anak pass away dulu dari ayah, cucu tak dapat sebab anak yang nak mendoakan ayah dah meninggal. parents are connected to children dan bukan cucu and so on.

Sekadar Menjawab
Salam
Maya and Unai asked me about my PD accommodation and here are the answers :) (macam zarin cakap, they all tanya, I jawablah hehe:)).
Avillion Admiral Cove (AAC) is a normal hotel - per night rate about Rm 250 plus plus, price is depending on the season, macam hotel lain lain yang mahal sedikit bila weekend. I paid for Rm250 based on last minutes on line booking. The hotel is OK :) - new, clean, and air tak karat :) but the service is not that satisfactory. It got generally good review based on my google :) but in reality, the staff there is really lacking in professional manners and good attitude.
I booked 2 room for 3 pm check in. But when I arrived, only 1 room was ready and another room was only ready at 4.30 pm. Understood, understood that it was peak season but still? And when we asked for an extra towel, they reply that they have run out of towel.
Anyway, AAC and Eagle Ranch Resort (ERR) were shortlisted for my office trip- divisional recreational trip but it never happened. Saya pula yang sibuk pergi :).
But I think that ERR is really a good place for family or school/uni reunion and of course :) a divisional trip.I read about it in one of the blogs in 2009. And tak sangka pun nak pilih this resort but since Er and Acha nak sangat naik kuda :) so I opted this place, biar jadi cowboy terus hehe.
Bandwagon chalet (where we stayed)
ala ala red indian
Kampung house ditepi sungai :)
log cabin
eagle square
It has many type of accommodation - beraccond (tu yang penting to me:))dan berkipas. I chose Bandwagon (BW) sebab bentuknya - and the inside is really antique. 1 BW has 4 separate rooms - 2 diatas and 2 dibawah and ada adjoining door in between - macam we all book 2 rooms, so pintu tengah tu boleh buka untuk short cut melintas. I never asked how big its size is when I booked. So jadi kecik lah instead of besar
BW rate is at RM175 per night. I am not sure about other type of rooms/chalet. I do think that the BW room was too small. I should have booked the log cabin. Yang macam semi D tu :) or maybe kampung house (ala ala tepi sungai but sebenarnya kolam ikan). For group bujang bujang, eagle square yang macam dorm tu or teepe tu sesuai (rasanya lah :))
ERR surrounding area is quite spacious - adults swimming pool besar and ada 2 kolam kanak kanak and depan kolam ada padang - children are free to run around. Ada padang kuda, padang paint ball, padang main teng teng, tempat activity menembak (macam tembak botol tu), go-kart area and a place ready for physical activity - memanjat, berguling etc (macam gambar atas).

Live these
I come to office today and find this in my Inbox – and it makes my day :) – enjoy
From the author of the last lecture - Randy Pausch
POINTS ON HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR LIFE
Personality:
1. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
2. Don't have negative thoughts of things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment
3. Don't over do; keep your limits
4. Don't take yourself so seriously; no one else does
5. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip
6. Dream more while you are awake
7. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need..
8. Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner of his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
9. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others.
10. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present
11. No one is in charge of your happiness except you
12. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn.
Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
13. Smile and laugh more
14. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
Community:
15. Call your family often
16. Each day give something good to others
17. Forgive everyone for everything
18. Spend time with people over the age of 70 ; under the age of 6
19. Try to make at least three people smile each day
20. What other people think of you is none of your business
21. Your job will not take care of you when you are sick. Your family and friends will. Stay in touch.
Life:
22. Put GOD first in anything and everything that you think, say and do.
23. GOD heals everything
24. Do the right things
25. However good or bad a situation is, it will change
26. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up
27. The best is yet to come
28. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful
29. When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it
30. If you know GOD you will always be happy. So, be happy
I love no 1,10,12, and 22-30, no 14, 17 and 24 is tough, and of course no 22 is the hardest and I wish that I dont care about no 20.:)

PUSRATU
Me being there was just for jalan jalan cari alternative ubat :).
reception area - canggih gak siap ada software key in data patient and ada server lagi
My SIL heard about it from Ikim radio and she asked me to go and check it out - I am a true believer on hospital and modern medication and a bit skeptical about traditional method unless of course it is for a treatment of the unseen force :), but I do believe that traditional massage does help in blood circulation and reducing swollen, buang angin and all so for that I dont mind wak patah or pak din but to recover from patah jadi tak patah without going through the operation and surgery, or kill cancer cells without laser, hmm I have to think twice :) . But when we are sick, we just have to try all the possibible ways kan. Lagi pun Allah is the greatest - hanya dengan kunfayakun, mana tau kan .
Where am I just now? Oh ya, we just go to Pusratu for the sake of going and surveying - trying to understand how Pusratu does its treatment.
The one that we went to is its headquarter; they have so called branches in Pahang and Perak and in 2 other states as well.
Diagnosis and treatment is by appointment. It is only open from Friday to Monday. It is registered under Kementerian Kesihatan under traditional medicine (based on yang dia tulis kat handout diala ye) and the premiseis a 2 storey bungalow where they use partial of the ground floor area as a reception area,1 diagnosis room and 2 treatment rooms.
People comes from all over the place with mysterious disease, sawan, special baby and toddler - I saw one baby , sian dia - cacat at birth maybe and a man holding a 6 years old girl - lebih kurang sama besar denga Erdina - and I was touched at how sick she is - and it hits me how lucky I am and how other people face far more greater life test from Allah.
So if you are looking for alternative treatment - drop by here. And as for us , we found out that what is offered to us is just like any traditional massage, different method though. They focus more on the backbone and nerve system - every single cell and tissue in our body is alive and all can be rectified by realigning the cells, tissues and veins in our body, except for cancer because cancer kill body cells. So they dont accept cancer patients. But many who have lose hope in modern medicine, do come here.
Charges for consultancy is only at RM20. For a comprehensive treatment, they will work out a package for you ranges from Rm1500 to 2500 for 2,3 treatment and 2, 3 follow-up sessions- payment can be made by installment.
More basic info is from their website here.
Till later
