Beware

I received this email once. But never thought that it is true :). My superior
got the exact call last Friday. Terkezut dia - siap buat report semua juga. And of course,
dia tak buat lah  request nombor 2 tu.

Not sure whether call yang dia dapat tu original or copycat :) (iyalah email ni dah lama maybe
orang yang nak nyakat :)). Sebab semua nya 'sejibik' :). Macam mimpi dia kata hehe

Bdw - that phone nombor is indeed bukit aman general line

The email as such, read on :

Dear All,
Please ignore if someone claims that he is from the commercial crime
department, Bukit Aman, by the name of ASP Foo Wei Min (h/p:016 9155 171)
called your mobile. His number appear on your mobile is +0060322662222.
Apparently there is such an officer but he is now on study leave abroad.
This is how the scam works;

1. This "officer" will call you saying that you are involved in some sort
of illegal black money and that your accomplish is caught by Hong Kong
police and that you have an account there as well.

2. You were than informed that all your bank account in Malaysia will soon
be frozen, and this "officer" will ask you to open a bank account and
transfer all your money to this account before it is frozen.

3. After you have done all this, then you are require to meet him at his
office. By then, all your money is gone, and you will not be able to meet
this "officer" as he is not in the country.
This is real, as one of my friend's girlfriend is one of the victim and he
called me this morning. I then checked with my friend at Bukit Aman
commercial crime department and he told me that he already received many
such calls about this "officer". His advise is, just ignore the call, but
make a police report at the nearest police station.
