Takdir Bukan Penentu

Sekali imbas the movie is mind-boggling, kelakar pun ada bila fikir fikir movie Barat ni try to explore the issue of takdir dengan cara sebegitu.

The message is clear though and we can relate to our belief - hidup kita memang da tertulis, sudah ada jalan jalan tertentu yang kita lalui but it does not mean that we can't change our destiny. Di mana ada kemahuan disitu ada jalan :). So jangan jadikan takdir sebagai alasan, eh :), saya memang ditakdirkan sejak azali buduh or saya pergi ke mana pun mesti terjatuh cinta ngan laki orang, tak boleh lari dah, memang telah ditakdirkan, ops melencung lah pulak hehe contoh ye contoh :)

Back to the movie, I chose to watch this instead of others sebab ada Mat Damon, ingat cerita action, macam Bourne tu kan, it turns out cheritera CINTA you ;).  He was David Norris who was destined to be a great politician, ditakdirkan akan sampai ke Rumah Putih lah kononnya. So takdir dia yang tersurat ni dijaga oleh  a group of men in black (bukan manusia ye). They live in different dimension/ medium and boleh tembus tembus bangunan. David asked,  are you an angel? They all jawab, bukan. Instead, they were all the officers yang take order from their chairman (I believe that the chairman is sort of the higher power/or God lah in this movie).

So dalam destiny David ni, telah tertulis untuk menjadi successful politician, a woman named Elise was not part of the deal. If his life was entangled with Elise, destiny David akan berubah. So officer officer takdir ni kena keep David  on the track and tak boleh bagi dia tersasar dari designated path that has been set for him.

Nak dijadikan cerita, one day he met Elise by chance and fell in love head over heel with her :D. David dah terjatuh cinta and tak boleh lupakan Elise, bulan berganti bulan, tahun berganti tahun (konon cinta sejati lahkan :))

Nak dijadikan cerita kelakar  :) , ada satu  fate officer tu kesian kat David and told David that they are not that clever after all. Dia pecah rahsia bagitau lubang lubang weakness they all. So David bangkit dengan semangatnya and chased after the women he loved.  Walau banyak sangat halangan in their way,  walau berduyon duyon officer takdir try to stop them- by putting obstacles in their way (The officers got divine power you, they all angkat jari ja, accident happens, or kaki terseliuh or orang terjatuh etc :))

So what's the ending? Hehe biasalah cinta sejati akan survive all hehe.

Overall, I give this movie 6 over 10, bukan sebab tak best,  but sebab I rasa kelakar. Try imagine if we can see this kind of officers :) . But apa apa pun, that is my interpretation of  the movie, tak tahulah pulak kalau orang lain rasa cerita ni pasal lain :). On second thought, maybe semua officers tu cuma wujud dalam David's state of mind ja, like it exists in our mind, sometime :).  Mat Saleh review is here :)

Takdir penentu segala ??? NO NO - selagi belum terjadi my dear, itu bukan takdir - you have your best to change things and make the best and wisest decision of your life - Only after it happens, when you cannot reverse backward the time and the act - then it become your takdir . Fikir fikir kan :)
