Don't judge a book by its cover - Some time this is so true but at some other time we do need to judge a book by its cover :) - Not to be prejudice but sometime people really cannot be trusted.
My family house is opened to all - My sister, or brother or me always bring in all sort of friends to stay overnight - I think we are a good host - we treat all with all the comfortableness that we can offer - cook good food - spend good time -
My parents always welcome all with the same parental gestures - all who come will call them papa/dad or ibu/mum - we treat all like family.
And for raya, the house will be more than "open" - All is welcome .
One particular person has come last raya and took a sick person's jewelry. That sick person is now dead - that sick person is my mum.
My brother made my mum wear all his necklaces and bracelet, bangles and rings because it was hari raya. There is one particular necklace that cost her RM 3 K, 10 or 15 years ago - I believe it is worth more nowadays.- at least 6k- It is gold- thick and heavy - In the noon of 2nd raya, my brother took it off (took off that necklace only ) and put it on the bed . He then went to bath my mum - Shortly after he come back into the room - the necklace was no more there -
We searched high and low - I resorted to spiritual way - the shaman said somebody took it - somebody who come during raya - :( so sad -
But I think we have to accept the fact it is gone - bukan rezeki
Screw the person who took the dead person belonging - It will not make you rich at all - and you will live with your guilt (if you have one) forever.
