She had the maid for only 5 days. The agency is giving her many excuses about her getting a replacement. She has lost hope. She said that the whole thing is a scam from the beginning.
It all started earlier this year when she approached an agency for a maid. She paid RM 3000 deposit to facilitate the documentation. Halfway through the process, the agency called, telling her that she faced some problems about getting her and the others maids (there was maid crisis earlier this year with Indonesian government- but not sure if that can be one of the reasons).
Instead of refunding her money,the maid asked my friend to deal with another agency which the former agent claimed as her friend and she told my friends that the new agency will take over and hand her the maid. What happened since then is a roller coaster ride of being pushing here and there and been giving thousand excuses- and what made matter worse is the agent and her so called agency's friend are facing an internal cat and dog crises and they are not talking to one another. RM3000 is gone to the 1st agency and an additional 1000 to the 2nd agency AND NO MAID.
After months of consistent follow up (with anger and frustration and tension and yelling and screaming and her perseverance of not giving up) she was handed with a 30 year old maid. TG. Finally.
But what the heck if she disappeared after 5 days?- The stupid maid left my friend's 1.5 year old baby downstairs with the front gate, door and pintu gril unlocked. That thought only send a chill through my body. Hellooooooo, what happen if the baby goes out and wander around? the worse could happen.
Luckily it was already 5pm and mummy was on her way back and luckily also her eldest son and daughter age 8 and 6 years old noticed that the stupid kakak was not around and quickly called the security guard for help.
ps: I am so annoyed - if nak lari pun adala perikemanusian skit but then I think dia memang mengong and for that why she need any humanly act at all.

argh depa ni kalau buat hal mmg tension kita sbg majikan kan..
my sis maid, hantar gambar all my nieces back to her parents in indonesia and asked her parents untuk bomohkan my nieces supaya dengar cakap dia... hadoi la..

diaorg ni mmg mengong! otak tah letak kat mana ntah...i ni mmg hangin betul kalo dengar citer maid2 jahanam cam ni....rasa cam depa tu jenis tak kenang budi langsung!!!
tapi, its like gambling kan...ada masa kalau rezeki baik dapatlah kita maid yg baik...baik camne pun i tetap takkan letak 100% trust pada maid i
inilah yg i takuuut sangat..so far i pernah ada 1 maid je dulu...dia pun ok sgt ngan we all tp Allah lebih sayangkan dia..
as at for now, i blm terpikir nk maid lagi sbb masih larat lgi tp we r trying to find a maid for my parents inlaw..pernah dpt hari tu tp after 1 month nk balik..pastu tk nk dtg balik :(
ha memang they all ni macam2 hal sabar ye i ada byk maid stories ni hahah- meamng betul they all ni baik2 pun tak leh 100% percaya:)
Aiyoh... i am in a dilemma now whether I should get a maid. The more I read about things like this the more I am delaying the process. BUT I can't survive without one la if I am going to have a 2nd child. So how la... sigh...

you have to take risk dear - maid is just like any other things in life :) - so once you decide keep your finger cross- hopefully u re lucky :)
