Pinky Pinky Dots

Q had a fever last Saturday, I brought him to clinic and no sore throat, no cough, no flu no nothing but its body temperature was as hot as a burning stove. I figured that maybe the green flu or the tonsil would come out sooner or later – until the end of the next day when I saw tiny little dots on his face– I thought that they were rashes but I know better heheh I selak baju dia semua -ooooooo campak ke .



I do some googling and measles is described as follow:-
It is a contagious respiratory infection that's caused by a virus. It causes a total-body skin rash and flu-like symptoms, including a fever, cough, and runny nose. Though rare in the United States, 20 million cases occur worldwide every year.Since measles is caused by a virus, there is no specific medical treatment and the virus has to run its course. Bahaya jugak rupanya campak ni kan . As more and more rashes appeared on Q’s body, his body’s temperature went back to normal. I went to find air kelapa muda (coconut juice)- Our elderly told us that if you got measles, drink a lot of them. And some friends told me not to give the sick person any paracetamol (or any ubat demam) because it will stop the measles coming out. Is it? Takda pulak jumpa masa google – but En Google pun tak cakap pasal air kelapa :D . They said also, " dont eat oily things, dont fry any thing in the kitchen". Is it?


Er got it at 1 year old before her MMR jab. And you know what heheh, I forgot that Q’s MMR's shot should have been taken at 18 months old and now he is 23 months – I totally forgot about it until the day he got measles, until last week – need to do that ASAP – a lot of vaccination that we get for our children is more to protect them when they are kids, teens and adults rather than when they are baby (website atas tu cakap – so I re write ja). Acha never got it, maybe later. Or maybe never.

All my babies are very good with shots. No voice or cry from both girls. Qayyum Iman cries a bit – you know lah being a boy /a man – they all kan memang mengada ngada sikit dari muda sampai tua hahaah


Me? I am ok with any shot - nak injet? nak amek darah? nak masuk drip ?- cucuk ja:) – don’t let me look at the needle though - Ill be ok- whatever you want to do Doc- just do it – don’t show me the needle hehe – but in all the jabs that I have taken, one was painful like hell – the after-shot feeling – the one that they gave me on my butt – to protect my unborn baby from getting respiratory problem if he wanted to come out before 36 weeks – I got to have that for Q – mak oiii sakit ngilu sampai ke tulang sum sum :) and it lasted for about 5 minutes or so. Fooh itu memang sakit (I know I know normal birth is more painful but I dont know any :D)


Anybody pernah kena? :) and ada sapa sapa takut kena injet? Hehe
